YES Campaign Launch - www.yes-campaign.net - Today 13h00

The Young European Federalists (JEF-Europe) are proud to announce that today, 19th January 2005, marks the launch of the YES Campaign in favour of the European Constitution. The launch event will take place at 13h00 at Rond Point Schuman in Brussels, with MEPs Richard Corbett, Andrew Duff, Jo Leinen and Inigo Mendez de Vigo speaking at the event.

"25 countries and 11 referendums means getting the European Constitution ratified is a serious challenge," stated Jon Worth, President of JEF-Europe, on the day of the launch.

"That's why we have launched the YES Campaign together with the European Movement International - it's a Europe-wide umbrella campaign on an issue that's of Europe-wide importance!"

"With networks of activists taking to the streets over the next 18 months, this campaign will make a vital contribution to hopes of ratification in all EU countries."
