Constitutional Debates!

All over the continent more than 100 debates on the Future of Europe took place in the framework of the "Europe! A Generation Ahead" project.

From April 11 to 13, 160 young people from all over Europe met and discussed our common European future and the draft European Constitution of the European Convention.

Great Ideas, Hard Work and Big Success - End of JEF Convention project "Europe! - A Generation Ahead"

The Convention project "Europe! - A Generation Ahead" (October 2002 - November 2003) has finished! JEF Europe Secretariat thank all JEF members for the superb effort to make this project to be a great success!

After several month of continuous work on this project, we are glad to announce that the project was a great success:

* Website (www.constitutional-convention.net) had 13.000 visitors / month on average

* Convention Bulletin (35 editions) was read by 5.500 direct subscribers (for more information click to the link www.constitutional-convention.net/bulletin/

* 3000 copies of final CD-Rom will be spread all over Europe

* There were 400 local events in more than 25 countries and 100.000 persons reached directly (to look at Euro debate map click www.constitutional-convention.net/project/static/eurodebatemap.html)

* And last but not least there were 3 International youth meetings (in Belgium, Greece and Sweden) organized by JEF Europe gathering together more 500 young people from more than 30 European countries
